Creased Air Max Stool – Parra 2018 edition

After successfully launching and producing our first Creased Air Max Stool, we are releasing a second colorway! This time we asked the community to choose between three different colorways. The 2018 Piet Parra Air Max 1 was favorite amongst you guys, so we made it happen! A perfect fusion of art, style, and functionality. Handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail (see the making of video here).

Each stool begins its journey fuelled with passion. We kick things off on the computer, where we drew the illustration ourselves. With utmost care, the illustration is printed and pasted onto sleek white varnished wood. Next, we skillfully saw and sand the wood, creating the perfect shape and finish. The illustrations are then coated with a protective layer of blank varnish that also intensifies the colors. Finally, using a combination of dowel pins, screws, and glue, the stool is assembled, ensuring stability and durability. The end result? A mesmerizing masterpiece.

As we kick off this exciting launch, we have only 10 slots available. Each stool will be created on order. Please understand that this artisanal process, from sourcing the raw materials to crafting the stool, takes time.
